1986 Horse of the Year Lady's Secret, one of the great race mares of our time, thrilled us with her exciting victories on the track. After having won the 1986 Breeders' Cup Distaff, "The Iron Lady" retired with earnings in excess of $3,000,000. she is now a member of the fine broodmare collect at Fares Farm in Lexington, Kentucky. Under sensitive brushstrokes, Julie A. Wear portrays Lady's Secret in tranquil retirement with her 1994 colt by Mr. Prospector.
